The Materkads are comprised of Klaus Bru on woodwinds and electronics, Chuck Payne on drums and percussion, and Matthew James Fullen (Accidental Twirlybird) on keyboards and electronics. The international trio, based in Taipei, Taiwan, plays music that stretches Form. Time. Space. and which embraces both freedom and its listeners’ ears–in other words, Materkads plays original and forward-looking original jazz music that actually likes the listener.
