Shun Kikuta is a Japan born internationally renowned musician traveling around the world. While Shun resided in Chicago over two decades he has performed and recorded with B.B.King, Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, Otis Rush, Bo Didley and many blues, Soul, R&B and Jazz artists.  Shun was a member of Koko Taylor’s Blues Machine for nine years and he was the last guitarist for Koko. He has recorded several his own albums such as “Rising Shun”(2007) and also appeared on many albums as a guitarist includes Koko Taylor’s Grammy Awards nominated “Old School (Alligator Records, 2007)”.
In 2011 after spending 21 years in Chicago Shun shifted his base in Taipei to focus touring and teaching around Asian countries. He has performed for major Asian blues and Jazz festivals such as Japan Blues Festival, CCP International Jazz Festival (Manila), Jakarta International Blues Festival and Taiwan Blues Bash.

Abe Thompson aka Nbugu Kenyatta, a native of New Orleans Louisiana, has been playing music for over 40+ years and holds a degree in Music Education. “I have played with a host of New Orleans great musicians as well as other great musicians. My group, the Kenyatta Funksters, formerly ARRK TU and also The Kenyatta Trio have been playing in Taiwan for over 22 years at all the pubs and other venues here. The group specializes in funk, reggae, rock, blues, jazz and a variety of other music. I’ve a few CD’s to my credit as well: Peace and Love, New Orleans East Meets The Fareast, and have played on others back in New Orleans such as Chocolate Milk, Eddie Bo, Wilson and Earl Turbington and a host of others.

Sannio KongDe (Sannio) is a Taiwan native who has been playing the bass guitar from his childhood. He’s been an avid player with all of the bands in Taiwan as well as foreign bands. He’s a real pocket groover and funkster
