Born in 1989, Samuel grew up in Pau, in the South- West of France. After piano studies until 12, he decided to take up the guitar at the age of thirteen, and soon developed an interest in improvisation. At seventeen, Samuel began attending jazz guitar lessons in Paris from famous jazz educators like Gilad Hekselman, Nelson Verras and Pierre Perchaud, and started playing in a wide variety of styles in a diverse range of performance situations. At 22, Samuel began a bachelor of music in jazz performance at the prestigious “Centre des Musiques Didier Lockwood-International Jazz School”, graduated with honors in 2015 and continued to work as a teacher and performer in Paris. He recently recorded as a leader an EPK with a talentuous young piano player, Jeremy Hinnekens, wich received praise from great jazz artist as Pierre Perchaud and Didier Lockwood.

Sam already appeared on stage in famous jazz places such as “Le Duc des Lombards” , “Sunset- Sunside”, and played with some of the finest musicians: Luigi Grasso, Julien Lourau, Jean-Marie Ecay, Chris Jennings, Emmanuel Bex, Pierre de Bethmann, Olivier Hutman, André Charlier, Benoît Sourisse, Pierre Perchaud, Romain Pilon…

Matt Fullen is a master’s student in NTNU’s Graduate Institute of Ethnomusicology. He is a composer and improvising pianist, and his major is multimedia applications.

Matt Fullen was born and grew up in Colorado, in the United States, and earned his Bachelor of Music Composition from the University of Northern Colorado, studying under Dr. Paul Elwood. He has also studied composition with John McLaird, Kris Falk, and Chingwen Chao, and has studied jazz/improvisation with Dana Landry, Steve Barta, Art Lande, and Adam Benjamin.

她在歐洲與美國音樂旅行, 在各方的音樂家身上互相學習….
