蕭碩寬 A-Kuan Shiao是台灣新一代的爵士鋼琴家，今年榮獲2019 Made In New York爵士大賽的鋼琴大獎，五月還受邀去紐約BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center獨奏蓋西文的藍色狂想曲，並與Al Foster、John Lee等大師合奏演出。
蕭碩寬的爵士即興風格是不按牌理出牌的變奏與諷刺，製造前衛又滑稽的音響。但今晚他將展現輕鬆的一面，用簡單彈唱的方式，把他喜歡的歌曲呈現給大家，證明通俗不等於庸俗。

Shuo-Kuan Shiao is among the latest generation of jazz pianists of Taiwan. He’s won Instrumental Top 5 of the Made In New York Jazz Competition this year and was invited to New York to play with the likes of Al Foster and John Lee.
Shuo-Kuan’s style of jazz improvisation is rule-breaking variations and sarcasms, creating a comical avant-garde sonority. But tonight, he’s gonna show how easy he can be—by singing and playing some songs that he like, proving that being accessible isn’t equal to being lame.
