After being in the Taipei Jazz scene for years, this is the first time for Steven to lead a project with his own name.
As his search goes on, he finds his sound time and time again by going back to the basics, finding and re-discovering the beauty in the simplest form of things, of music.
He believes that the core of music is simply creating good melodies, and that it connects and heals people, even in these crazy times.
“The Simple Side of Things” is a series of performances brought to you by Steven Wang and his dear friends. And by bringing you the most honest music in its simplest forms, hopefully it’ll bring you some warmth and make you feel grounded and reconnected again, even in the darkest hours.
