– Eugenia Choe Album Release Tour

由韓裔美籍爵士鋼琴手 Eugenia Choe 領軍的三重奏，成員包含來自台灣的鐵琴手蘇郁涵，以及活躍於歐洲樂壇的韓國超技爵士歌手 SongYi Jeon，三位於紐約相遇成為好友的亞洲女性音樂家，首次來台巡演，帶來鋼琴手 Eugenia 將在 2025 年二月於紐約知名爵士廠牌 Sunnyside 唱片發行的全新專輯作品，在溫暖亮麗的摩登爵士和聲流動中，帶來默契絕佳的即興演奏。

A Korean-American jazz pianist and composer, Eugenia Choe is one of the most respected musicians of her generation.
Having spent her early childhood in South Korea and her formative years in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Chicago, and New York, Eugenia has cultivated a deep and intimate connection with diverse cultures. This rich background has profoundly influenced her
unique style of composition and improvisation. In addition to leading her own projects, Eugenia has performed as an accompanist and sideman with many accomplished musicians in renowned
jazz venues across New York and internationally. Since the release of her successful debut
album in 2016, she has been an artist with SteepleChase Records. Eugenia’s latest project, So We Speak, featuring Yuhan Su and Song Yi Jeon, is set to be released in February 2025 on Sunnyside Records.

▪︎Song Yi Jeon / 歌手
South Korean modern jazz singer and composer Song Yi Jeon is known for her hypnotic voice that is likened to a malleable wordless instrument, as well as for her incomparable improvisations.
At Berklee College of Music in Boston US, she was the inaugural Quincy Jones CJ&E fellow and was also awarded the Billboard Endowed Award.
Among the many clubs and festivals where the Song Yi Jeon Quintet has performed is New York’s famous Blue Note. In 2015, the Quintet released the mini-album “Straight,” while in 2018, Jeon released her first
album, “Movement of Lives.” Her duo album with Vinicius Gomes “HOME” in 2022 received a rating of 4.5 from Downbeat Magazine, followed by her trio album “Solitary Bloom” in 2024.
Song Yi was selected to be part of the Rolex Arts Initiative Mentor & Protégé program for 2023-2024, and as a music protégé, she worked closely with five-time Grammy winner Ms. Dianne Reeves.

▪︎蘇郁涵 / 鐵琴
美國爵士樂最重要雜誌 DownBeat 評價為「像是一本最好的小說，說盡了所有的美好」並提名為年度「崛起新秀」的爵士鐵琴家蘇郁涵，在今年第三十五屆金曲獎以「自由的姿態」專輯中的「嗨高科技」一曲，榮獲「演奏類最佳作曲人」獎項，蘇郁涵精湛的演奏技巧與的風格獨具的爵士創作，在國際樂壇皆不斷地獲得極大的肯定和贊許，至今出版四張專輯「孤獨飛行」、「自己的房間」、「城市型動物」,曾獲六座台灣金音創作獎包括..「年度最佳專輯」、「最佳爵士專輯」、「最佳爵士單曲」、「最佳樂手」、「最佳新人」，並多次入圍金曲獎「最佳演奏類專輯」、「最佳作曲人」、「最佳專輯製作人」、「最佳演奏錄音專輯獎項」以及 Downbeat 和 All About Jazz 年度最佳專輯等。
蘇郁涵現為世界頂尖鐵琴品牌 Ludwid-Musser Vibraphone 的代言人，電子打擊鍵盤 Alternate Mode 的 MalletKat 藝術家，以及紐約極富盛名的爵士唱片廠牌 Sunnyside Records 旗下的音樂家。
