黃煜傑，早在四歲便對古典音樂萌生興趣，九歲以榜首進音樂班就一路接受古典音樂的薰陶，從大同國中、台中二中到國立臺北教育大學音樂系畢業。

2014年開始對爵士樂產生極大的熱忱，師事翁家怡老師，以及曾增譯老師。雖為古典樂出身,但對爵士樂有永無止境的狂熱,以古典樂艱深嚴謹的技巧與音樂性為背景,試圖在爵士樂中創造出更美好的音樂與聲響。

2016年《局外人四重奏》入圍臺北爵士音樂節新秀決賽與2019《黃煜傑爵士三重奏》入圍台中爵士音樂節新秀決賽。經常在台灣知名的爵士樂場地如Rhythm alley、Blue note、Sappho、Red room、中山光一、小城外、Gato Bonheur等地方演出。與以電影「郊遊」獲得金馬獎最佳導演獎—”光影大師”蔡明亮導演無數次合作。

2018年以榜首考進輔仁大學音樂研究所爵士樂組，現在致力於各種音樂演出與教學。

Bass

Julian Wittich (紀安) (b. 1999) is a jazz bassist and composer based in both Amsterdam and Taipei. Born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, Wittich began his musical studies with the violin at 7 years old. He soon discovered his appetite for various styles of music, teaching himself to play the electric bass at age 13 and eventually the double bass at age 17. Currently studying at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with some of Europe’s most in demand jazz bassists, like Clemens van der Feen and John Clayton. Since coming back to Taiwan in March 2020, he has been making a name for himself in Taiwan’s jazz scene, and has also been working with established pop artists in Asia, including JJ Lin and 9m88.

Julian Wittich (紀安) (1999) 是一位爵士貝斯手和作曲家，目前居住在阿姆斯特丹。出生於台北的 Wittich 7歲就開始拉小提琴進行音樂學系。他很快就發現了自己對各種音樂風格的興趣，自學成才在13歲時開始學電貝斯，然後17歲時開始學低音大提琴(double bass)。他目前在阿姆斯特丹音樂學院讀書，跟歐洲一些著名的爵士貝斯手學習，例如 Clemens van der Feen 和 John Clayton。他最近回來台灣也跟亞洲一些著名的藝人（林俊傑，9m88) 一起合作。

Drums

Chuck Payne is a professional drummer, originally from Houston, Texas, currently living in Taipei, Taiwan. Chuck attended the University of North Texas as a Jazz Studies major as well as studying music and audio engineering at Houston Community College. After moving to Taiwan in 2012, Chuck began playing concerts, touring and recording drums tracks for several notable players in the Asian music scene, including including pop stars Joanna Wang, Jolin Tsai, David Tao, Kay Huang, Hebe, Kit Chan and music producers Bing Wang and Hsing-min “Baby” Chung. In addition, Chuck is an endorsing artist for Gioco Drums.
