亞歷普洛尼Alex Pryrodny, 來自紐約的鋼琴家, 作曲家, 即興音樂彈奏者.

1984年出生於烏克蘭基輔, 3歲開始學習古典鋼琴, 6歲即開始公開演出, 少年時期即二度獲得烏克蘭年輕作曲家及許多國際獎項(古典鋼琴演奏, 作曲, 即興等獎). 16歲定居美國紐約, 在Maryland大學攻讀古典作曲及鋼琴演奏, 之後在爵士名校New School攻讀爵士鋼琴演奏. 曾在美國, 義大利, 臺灣, 俄國, 波蘭, 烏克蘭等國家演出. 2012年參加世界青年爵士鋼琴獨奏大賽(Montreux Jazz Piano Solo Competition)獲得亞軍. 而緣份帶他到淡水流浪, 成為他生命中一個特別的地點, 2012年底由亞神音樂發行爵士鋼琴獨奏專輯”Album Zero”.

Alex Pryrodny

Was born in Kyiv, Ukraine in 1984. He started studying piano at the age of 3 with his mother and gave his first public performance at the age of 6. Soon he discovered a passion for improvisation, trying his hand at jazz, baroque and classical styles. By his early teens, Alex has won the title of Ukraine’s best young composer twice, as well as several international competitions in classical piano, composition, and improvisation.

At the age of 16 Alex moved to the United States where he studied classical composition and piano in the University of Maryland and jazz piano at the New School in New York City. After graduation he continued learning from masters such as Fred Hersch, Hal Galper, Ari Hoenig and others. In July 2012, Alex has been awarded the 2nd prize at Montreux Jazz Solo Piano Competition. His first solo piano album entitled “Album Zero” has been released by Asiamuse label in 2013.
