魯千千與Cbass爵士四重奏簡介：

旅居美國紐約爵士鐵琴演奏家魯千千，目前活躍於美國紐約、費城各大爵士酒館，並時常受邀於當地不同音樂種類的演出。魯千千爵士四重奏，曲子皆由魯千千和Sebastian Chiriboga所改編與創作，曲風從當代爵士到中文英文流行改編都有，此團由金曲奬得主曾增譯擔任鋼琴手、旅美八年的貝斯手徐崇育、以及現活躍於紐約的鼓手Sebastian Chiriboga組成。

鐵琴Vibraphone│魯千千 Chien Chien Lu

旅美爵士鐵琴演奏家，畢業於國立臺北藝術大學管絃與擊樂研究所、美國賓州費城藝術學院爵士音樂系，攻讀爵士鐵琴。在台期間曾為朱宗慶打擊樂團團員， 目前活躍於紐約、費城各大爵士酒館，並受邀於不同音樂種類的演出。

出生於1989年，6歲開始學習鋼琴，10歲開始學習打擊樂，25歲畢業於台北國立藝術大學管絃與擊樂研究所，同年秋天前往美國賓州學習爵士樂。大學及研究所期間曾為朱宗慶打擊樂團員，在團期間隨團演出達上百場，並且也赴北京、上海、廣州、新加坡、日本等地巡迴演出。2010一月參與朱宗慶打擊樂團 25 週年經典音樂會，與朱宗慶一同演出雙協奏曲《飆鼓》 於臺北國家音樂廳。 2012四月發表作曲家林京美教授六棒木琴協奏曲《心浪》於臺北藝術大學音樂廳，十二月擔任舞蹈家林懷民所創作之《薪傳》現場擊樂伴奏。2013一月於臺北新舞台舉辦個人擊樂音樂會《對白》，五月演出朱宗慶打擊樂團擊樂劇場《木蘭》演出於臺北，北京，上海，廣州等地。2015年赴美國費城攻讀爵士演奏碩士，2016二月開始於美國賓州費城爵士酒館Chris’ Jazz Cafe 定期演出魯千千爵士四重奏。六月錄取德拉瓦州Boysie Lowery Living Jazz Residency，受Aaron Park、Ari Hoening、Ben Schachter 等多位爵士大師指導，並於The Queen音樂廳演出爵士四重奏。九月受邀The Fusebox計畫，與費城當地知名爵士樂團Vertical Current 合作演出，向爵士鐵琴傳奇演奏家Roy Ayers 致敬音樂會。當月也受邀John Coltrane 爵士音樂節，並與小號手Christopher Stevens Quintet合作演出，2017年五月以第一名成績GPA4.0畢業於費城藝術大學研究所，拿到唯一的校長獎。一畢業即搬到紐約，並於夏天錄取當今知名爵士鋼琴手Vijay Iyer帶領的Banff International Workshop in Creative & Jazz Music，與Vijay Iyer、Gretchen Parlato、Mark Guiliana、Gary Bartz、Linda Oh、Jen Shyu、Okkyung Lee等十八位爵士樂知名樂手一同創作音樂及演出，並在十月與Okkyung Lee一同於紐約知名實驗與前衛音樂表演場地The Stone演出。目前魯千千帶領著與鼓手Sebastian Chiriboga 組成的樂團LIttle Buh活躍於紐約各個音樂表演場合。

PIANO│曾增譯Mike Tseng

新生代爵士鋼琴家曾增譯，於2009畢業於比利時皇家音樂院爵士演奏研究所 (Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel)，專攻爵士鋼琴演奏。

回國後，曾增譯積極參與國內外大大小小爵士演出，與許多台灣好手及國際大師交手合作，漸漸豐富他的音樂想法與創作能量。在蘊釀多年後，曾增譯於 2012年8月錄製自己的第一張專輯，團名爲共聲體樂團(Symbiosis Trio)，2013年5月進行專輯發表。

「曾增譯，共聲體三重奏」不僅入圍2013年第4 屆金音獎 「最佳樂手獎」、「最佳爵士專輯」、 「最佳爵士單曲」。更於2014年，榮獲第25屆流行音樂金曲獎「演奏類最佳專輯」、「演奏類最佳作曲人」，入圍「最佳專輯製作人」，首度入圍即有雙金加持，曾增譯的創作與演奏才華，震驚台灣樂壇! 奪得金曲獎後，曾增譯更於2015年3月，受邀參加爵士界指標性的國際盛會，也是亞洲最盛大的JAVA JAZZ印尼爪哇爵士音樂節，以精彩的演出，深深吸引海外歌迷的心，也讓台灣本土爵士創作在國際舞台發光發熱！

BASS│徐崇育Vincent Hsu

徐崇育 (Vincent Hsu) 旅居紐約八年，於紐約市立大學 (City University of New York—City College) 取得爵士演奏學士和英語教學碩士雙學位；並畢業於紐約大學(New York University) 爵士演奏碩士，主修低音提琴，師事前紐約愛樂低音大提琴首席 John A. Schaeffer、葛萊美最佳拉丁爵士演奏專輯得主 Brian Lynch以及Cecil McBee、John Patitucci、Victor Venegaz、Andy Gonzalez、Marc Johnson、Billy Drummond 等名師。

演奏風格上擅長爵士及拉丁古巴 (Afro-Cuban) 音樂，為少數曾於紐約歷史性爵士酒吧“Blue Note” 演出之台灣爵士樂手；拉丁演奏方面、他身為古巴樂團 Sarah Y Su Cachito 創始成員之一， 定期於紐約各地演奏傳統古巴音樂和拉丁爵士，並參與外百老匯音樂劇之演出，演奏地點包括；Jazz Gallery、Puppet’s Jazz Bar、St. Nick’s Pub、Big Apple Jazz、Arturo’s、Jules Bistro、 Garage、Bowery Poetry Club 等。除了現場表演外，也在紐約舉辦爵士樂演奏教學示範講座等，致力於爵士樂推廣和教育。

於2010年7月返台後，帶領 Soy La Ley 古巴爵士樂團參與眾多演出，包括2014、2012年兩廳院夏日爵士音樂節，並連續五年參與台中爵士音樂節；2015年9月並於全新計劃徐崇育 “Journey Through Jazz” 六重奏參與2015兩廳院夏日爵士音樂節。身為貝斯手，亦活躍於各大爵士音樂節與現場演出。目前於各大學教授即興演奏、表演藝術、爵士樂欣賞等。現為國立台灣藝術大學即興演奏講師，並擔任 Soy La Ley 古巴爵士樂團團長。2014年12月發想並與台灣大學藝文中心合作舉辦 「Clave de Cuba—絕對古巴」藝術節，擔任音樂總監。

2014年6月發行首張爵士創作專輯《Homeland》， 該專輯獲得2014年文化部第5屆金音創作獎「年度最佳爵士專輯獎」，以及由新加坡、馬來西亞、台灣三地音樂傳媒評選之2015年第8屆 Freshmusic Awards「年度最佳演奏專輯獎」；並於2015年獲得第26屆金曲獎三項提名，包括「演奏類最佳專輯」、「演奏類最佳專輯製作人」、「演奏類最佳作曲人」。

DRUMS │Santiago Sebastian “C-bass” Chiriboga

Santiago Sebastian “C-bass” Chiriboga is a Percussionist/Improviser/Composer/Educator in the NYC area. He graduated from the prestigious Berklee College of Music and has played/studied with many notable artists such as: Willie Nelson, Annie Lennox, George Garzone, Greg Osby, Gilad Hekselman, Hal Crook, John Patitucci, Danilo Perez, Joe Lovano, Frank Foster, Bill Whelan, Terri Lyne Carrington, Ralph Peterson, Ian Froman, Patrice Rushen, Aj Rafael, Shea Rose, Hillary Jane, Daphne Khoo, and Harris Simon (recorded with Michael Brecker) in distinguished locations such as: The Blue Note, Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center, Jordan Hall, Berklee Performance Center, Sandler’s Center for Performing Arts, Agganis Arena, and Roper Theatre.

Born on October 27, 1990, Santiago Sebastian “C-bass” Chiriboga’s musical odyssey began in his hometown: Virginia Beach, VA. C-bass began playing classical percussion when he was in high school at the late age of 14. A few years later, he was accepted into the demanding Governor’s School for the Arts (GSA) for orchestral percussion. Throughout his time in high school and GSA, he was the first chair percussionist in many of Virginia’s honor ensembles such as All-District Band, All-State Band, All-City Drumline, and Senior Regional Orchestra. C-bass was later asked to play with the Virginia Wind Ensemble as a percussionist where he would find himself performing concerts at Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center.

Hungry to diversify his musical background, C-bass auditioned and received a heavy scholarship from the highly reputable Berklee College of Music. At Berklee, C-bass was always in demand as a studio/live percussionist/drum set player; combining his background in orchestral percussion and his new love for improvised music. He toured and performed with many students and faculty at Berklee. During his last few semesters of college, he earned the Charles Mingus Jazz Composition Award and the Berklee Contemporary Orchestra Performance Award. On August 2013, C-bass graduated from the Berklee College of Music with a Bachelors Degree in Jazz Composition and Percussion/Drum Set Performance.

Right after a two-month gig in Virginia from September 2013 – November 2013 with the Harris Simon Trio, C-bass moved to New York City to continue developing his art through the rich musical environment that the city has to offer. C-bass continues to be in high demand in New York and plays percussion and drum set for various artists and acts. He also leads his own group entitled “Little BUH” with Taiwanese vibraphonist Chien Chien Lu.
