Bio
Since their first CD release «Traveling with Music» in 2008, the band produced 4 additional recordings and 1 DVD. Their newest album «Motion in Progress» features Swiss soul star «Seven» and appeared internationally in collaboration with the Swiss Jazz label «Unit Records» in March 2013.
Following several successful tours in Switzerland and throughout Europe, the trio was invited to perform in Asia. With concerts in Japan, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan, the trio delighted fans, highlighting their tours with performances at the «Taipei International Jazz Festival», «Ikebukuro Jazz Festival» in Tokyo, «New Vision Festival» in Hong Kong and a special invitation concert for Swiss President Doris Leuthard in Singapore. Furthermore «Claude Diallo Situation, Live at No Black Tie, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia» was released through the label «No Black Tie Records» in 2011 and features Malayan alto sax player Julian Chan.
In 2010, the three young European musicians were given the honor to tour Switzerland and France with tenor sax legend Andy Mc Ghee (legendary performer with giants such as Lionel Hampton and Woody Hermann) and in 2012 the band was chosen «Best Jazz Band» among 12 jazz groups from Switzerland that participated in the «Kind of Jazz Award» series at the legendary «Kaufleuten Club» in Zurich, Switzerland.
The trio has also been privileged to record with Canadian singer Denzal Sinclaire among other great musicians. The Claude Diallo Situation has achieved a high, and reputable performance standard, thrilling audiences worldwide.
