Emilie is a jazz and world music singer and flutist born in France in june 1985.She studies at the Classical Conservatory of Bordeaux in flute, and chamber music, with the great teachers Mr Dinouard, Mr Libouban, Mr Coles and  Mr Millepieds.

At the same time she learns musicology at Bordeaux University’s Music Department.

In 2007, she obtains her DEM in flute and chamber music with congratulations, and her DEUG in Musicology.

She starts touring in Turkey, Hungaria, Praha..

with the electro-instrumental band “united fools”.

One year later, she does the Jazz DEM in the  Conservatory of the Region in Agen.

In 2009, she moves to Mumbai to learn Indian flute with the great flutist Hariprasaad Chaurasia. In 2011 she releases her first album called “Saudade e Alegria” with the french guitarist and compositor Thierry Lujan and a few month later she goes to Beijing and performs with the great Harmonica player Laurent Maur.

2012 is a travelling year;  after recording  indian flute on «  Didier Ballan Jazz Ensemble’s  » new album,

Emilie  goes to San Francisco with the Sophisticated Ladies Jazz Quartet, to promote their new album.

Then she tours with “Mademoiselle et son Orchestre” in China and Vietnam

And finally she plays at “giants steppes of jazz’s festival” with Laurent Maur duet.

In 2013, she decides to go to Bresil in Bahia learning portuguese and brasilian percussions.

Then they go back to china with Laurent Maur’s project and play at Forbidden City, beijing.

In 2014, she tours in San Francisco with” Sophisticated Ladies” for the second time.

She releases her second album with «  saudade e alegria  » (only originals)

In may  and june they go touring in Korea and China with Laurent Maur.

In july she meets the great saxophonist Lee Konitz  during a featuring concert at Caillou Jazz Festival in Bordeaux.

In september  she plays in Colombia with Wax Tailor and the Phonovision Orchestra

-records her 3rd album in quartet  with Laurent Maur, based on true improvisations.
