John Urban is a bassist from Los Angeles California. At 32 years old, he has been an active member of the LA jazz and music scene for over 15 years. He has worked with a wide range of artists from all over the world, playing many styles of music. He has a bachelors degree in jazz studies from Cal a State Fullerton University and a Masters degree in jazz studies from the University of Southern California (USC). John is also an active teacher, having taught at the renowned Orange County School of the Arts from 2013-2017, and is currently a faculty member at Cypress College in Orange County California.
