隨著荷蘭鼓手Sebastiaan再度來台，薩克斯風手明諺決定以睽違兩年多的Minyen Hsieh Quartet Plays的標題回到Sappho演出！ 這次的主題將圍繞著兩位爵士樂史上最著名的作曲家：John Coltrane和Wayne Shoter，除了向傳統致敬之外也藉由這些經典作品來找尋靈感，開闢新的空間！
“Minyen Hsieh Quartet Plays”is back to Sappho again!! Featuring Dutch drummer Sebastiaan Kaptein. This time they will reinterpret the works of the great John Coltrane and Wayne Shorter. In a way they wants to represent how great achievement are made by those masters and how their messages influenced the jazz musicians now.
