“Nard” : Bernard Wright Tribute Show
Bernard Wright (1963 – 2022) American funk and jazz keyboardist who was highly influential in the development of the Jazz-funk and jazz-R&B fusion styles. His 1981 album ‘Nard was prominently sampled on many classic hip hop recordings from artists such as Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and LL Cool J. The album reach number 7 on the Jazz Albums charts in US in 1981. Barnard Wright also performed and toured with jazz legend Miles Davis.
Wright passed away this year so to pay tribute to this great artists a stacked lineup of some of Taipei’s finest jazz musicians will be performing music from the album ‘Nard.
