HECTOR CASTILLO

He was born in the Dominican Republic, a land of beautiful landscapes, beaches and great musicians.

His beginnings in music, presented at the age of 12, when he was elected to be the soloist in the church choir, then began the study of the acoustic guitar. During his teens he spent many hours singing popular songs from various Latin American artists.

It was in Vienna, where with a twist of fate, the Latin music scene was deeply inserted in the musical domain. He performed for many years with his group, Café con Leche. Hence comes the name * Cafe *. Being on top   of fame took him by surprise, and he made the decision to return to Spain.

In Madrid he formed his second band which was presented at the magority of the most important stages throughout Spain. In the 90s, their presence was known on the different TV channels frequently. While songs of his own composition were heard on radios across the country. He quickly discovered that his true calling was music, and decided to continue his Piano Studies, voice and guitar.

He has done vocals in Oscar de Leon Orchestra and his songs have been listened to in various parts of the world.

 

RICKY DELA CRUZ – PIANIST AND VOCALIST

Born into musical family he has vast musical experience. Started playing piano at an early age of 12 and turned professional at 16. Playing at American bases in the 60’s and has since played in some of Asia’s notable hotels and clubs. He has also done some TV, and recordings with some famous singers here in Taiwan.
