Come and help raise money for The Pack Sanctuary and enjoy a full seven hours plus of live music!

The Pack is an animal sanctuary on the northern tip of Taiwan specializing in the rescue, rehabilitation. and rehoming or lifelong care of animals in dire need of help or unlikely to find suitable homes elsewhere. In order to keep going, The Pack rely on donations and the goodwill of people to support their cause.

Come and show your support at Sappho Live on Sunday, December 4th and enjoy live music all evening long!

Doors open at 4pm, and music starts from 5pm.

Entrance fee is $500 (All of which will go to The Pack Sanctuary)

We will also have raffles, and other ways to raise even more money on the evening.

*Plus we will have a special vegan curry w/ rice for sale from 5pm till all sold! Come early to get your meal!

The Pack Sanctuary

The Sanctuary was started in June 2010 by Sean McCormack and Anri Sung. We rescue animals in dire need of veterinary help, get them healthy, and rehome them. We also provide sanctuary to animals otherwise unlikely to find a suitable home, such as FIV cats, seemingly aggressive dogs, former pet pigs, injured pigeons, and orphaned squirrels. We will soon be building a sanctuary to house and protect deer rescued from the deer-velvet Chinese medicine industry.

We believe in providing animals with as natural a life as possible, including their surroundings and diet. We are opposed to feeding convenience pellets and other commercial products to animals who thrive far better on a raw, species-appropriate diet.

Our staff know how to behave around fearful or aggressive animals in such a way as to encourage them to relax and enjoy some human interaction as a means to better care for them. We take in dogs and cats who have been abused or given inappropriate care and help them overcome the insecurities and undesirable behaviours that they have picked up as a result.

We aim to always improve and expand to become a model sanctuary to set an example and help other shelters and sanctuaries become sustainable and more humane for the animals in their care.

The Sanctuary currently receives no government funding and relies on donations and sponsorship of our animals.
