The Silver Four
+ make a long-awaited return to the Sappho Live stage. This dynamic ensemble plays classics from the songbook of the great jazz pianist and composer, Horace Silver. Each song reveals a unique side of this prolific composer, from high tempo bebop to spicy latin-flavored blues, to lyrical serenades and evocative ballads. Led by seasoned Canadian guitarist Andy Ferris and featuring saxophonist 周泰明, this ensemble plays with passion, precision and joy that brings Silver’s music to new and exciting places.
